I will not quibble about definitions with you on so grand a scale. Enlightenment, as a philosophy, may be your Favorite Intangible, but to me its practical aspects are knowledge and awareness. I laud both as assets, but we have axioms like "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing," and the remarks of Einstein and Oppenheimer upon the successful creation and testing of the atomic bomb. Ergo, not all knowledge brings happiness.
